How Much is the HWSETA Internship Stipend Amount?

Interns who are accepted into the HWSETA internship programme will receive a monthly stipend to cover their living expenses. The stipend amount varies depending on the field of study but typically ranges from R3500 to R5000 per month. These internship programmes are designed to provide young people with practical work experience in their chosen field of study. The duration of the internship programmes varies depending on the programme but typically lasts for 12 months.

What are the Requirements for the Internship Application?

To be eligible for the HWSETA internship programme,` applicants must meet the following requirements:

1. Be a South African citizen

2. Have completed a relevant qualification (Diploma or Degree) in the field of study

3. Be between the ages of 18 and 35

4. Have no prior work experience in the field of study

5. Be willing to undergo a criminal record check

6. Be willing to sign an internship agreement
