Spotify Internship Programs List

  • Aspiring Marketing Professionals Program

As an associate, you will work in Spotify’s New York office and learn about its culture, company, and brand. To get the most out of your learning experience, you will rotate through three fascinating projects focusing on marketing strategy within their Content, Premium, and Markets Business teams.

Application period: Opens every other summer

Global Summer Internship

This is Spotify’s largest program, with numerous opportunities across their commercial and technical departments, as well as the opportunity to have a direct impact on how the world consumes audio. Internship opportunities are available at a variety of offices around Europe, the United States, and Asia.

Application period: Opens every winter

  • Technology Fellowship Program

This course is intended for aspiring software engineers. You’ll work on exciting live projects and feature work with the support of their experienced mentors and managers if you’re new to the tech sector. What matters is your ambition to enhance your talents and obtain applied technical experience in a fast-growing company like Spotify, not where you studied.

Application period: Open spring or summer

  • Finance Analyst Rotation

This intensive 24-month curriculum prepares recent graduates for careers in finance. You’ll work on four 6-month rotations with their US-based Finance team, receiving extensive training and mentoring and completing project-based work in Internal Auditing, Treasury, Accounting, and Financial Planning & Analysis.

  • The Opening Act Innovation Challenge

Every year, Spotify invites students from Historic Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Hispanic Serving Institutes (HSI) to work on real-world business problems. Winners will be invited to do an internship with them, where they will work directly on the solution they proposed. 

Application period: Open each fall or spring semester. 

  • Rotational Product Management Program

Through three rotations, you will practice the product management craft and get experience on real projects of all types across the organization, working with experienced Product Managers who will train and advise you along the way. This is a full-time program at Spotify’s London and Stockholm offices.

Who is Eligible for Spotify Internships?

To qualify for Spotify internships, you must be a current student pursuing Associate, Bachelor’s, Master’s & Ph.D. degrees as well as bootcamp certifications. They also accept new graduates for summer internships.

Can International Students Apply?

Yes. Spotify welcomes international students to apply for their summer internship programs. 

In the United States, Spotify sponsors students on F1 visas and will supply you with the necessary documents for OPT/CPT. They do not currently sponsor the J1 visa. If you are offered a full-time position, their full-time recruitment staff will inform you whether the position will sponsor an H1B visa.

In order to work in EMEA and JAPAC, the student must have an accurate visa. They only hire students who are currently residing at the internship site.

First and foremost, do your study and tell them why you want to join the band! In addition to your résumé, they like to see cover letters, portfolios, and personal websites to get a deeper feel of who you are, your experience, and your passions! Pay close attention to various job descriptions and apply only to those that interest you and match your qualifications!
