What is the Live Más Scholarship?
The Live Más Scholarship is intended for pupils who are pursuing postsecondary education, getting ready for the workforce, or igniting change in their communities and beyond via their enthusiasm. This scholarship is for you, regardless of where you are in your journey—whether you are just beginning to recognize your skills and cultivate your passion, or whether you are doing both and encouraging others to follow in your footsteps.
Is the Live Más Scholarship Open for Application?
The Taco Bell Foundation scholarship is open for application. The application opened on November 1. Applicants can apply through the Taco Bell Foundation portal.
This scholarship helps sharpen the passion of applicants. Hence, it provides them with connections and opportunities throughout their journey.
How Do I Get the Taco Bell Live Mas Scholarship?
Getting the Taco Bell scholarship is hassle-free. All the applicant needs to do is submit an original video that details their true, motivating passion. It might be an animation, a short film, or a straightforward testimonial.
To ensure successful upload to the application, your video must not exceed 100 MB in size and be no longer than 2 minutes (with a minimum length of 30 seconds).
How Much is the Taco Bell Foundation Scholarship?
The Live Mas scholarship offers over $10 million in funds. Eligible applicants must spend the scholarship money on acceptable educational costs.
The scholarship money covers the following:
- Tuition,
- Necessary charges,
- Books, and materials unique to the course.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for this scholarship, the applicant must:
- Be a resident of one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia (“D.C.”).
- Be at least 16 years old and no older than 26 years old as of the last day of the program period.
- The applicant must be on track to enroll in or apply for an accredited post-high school or post-secondary program (including accredited two-and four-year colleges, universities, vocational-technical, and trade schools).
- Must be prepared to cooperate with the Scholarship Management Company of the Taco Bell Foundation during the application and award processes.
- Have not had a Live Más Scholarship before.
How to Apply for Live Más Scholarship
- Go to the Taco Bell Foundation Scholarship website.
- Click on Apply Here.
- You will be directed to the Kaleidoscope scholarship application portal.
- Click on Begin.
- Answer the 40 questions.
To support your application, you must submit a two-minute video telling us what you are passionate about and how you plan to make a difference.
Video Requirements
Please be sure to respond to the following three queries in your video:
- How are you now following your passion? What is it?
- How do you intend to use your passion to make a difference in the world or in your community?
- How will your education allow you to follow your dreams and effect change?
How to Renew your Scholarship
Requirements:
Here are the requirements for the Live Mas Scholarship Renewal Program:
- The applicant must be a citizen of one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. They must reside in one of these countries.
- The applicant must have earned a Live Más Scholarship before, through either the Live Más Scholarship Program or the Live Más Scholarship Program for Restaurant Employees. Also, they must not have received all four Live Más Scholarships.
- The candidate must be a current student in good academic standing at an eligible post-secondary institution in the United States or Washington, D.C., including accredited two- and four-year colleges, universities, and vocational-technical and trade schools.
- Prior to the 2023 Program Period, any awards from a Previous Program must have been used or severely depleted (75% or more).
- The candidate must be open to collaborating with Taco Bell Foundation’s Scholarship Management Company throughout the application and award process.
To Apply for Renewal
Submit a video (2 minutes or less) that responds to the following inquiries:
- How are you now following your passion? What is it?
- How do you intend to use your passion to make a difference in the world or in your community?
- What actions have you made since receiving your Live Más Scholarship to bring about this change?
- How has your post-secondary enrolment aided you in pursuing your passion and bringing about the change you want to see in the world?
Note: You will be prompted to input an access code in order to finish the renewal application. On November 1, 2022, access codes will be emailed to qualified renewal applicants. Send an email to TacoBellFoundation@TacoBell.com if you don’t get the code.
Taco Bell Live Más Scholarship Deadline
The deadline to apply is January 11, 2023, at 5:00 PM PST.
Note: Applicants must endeavor to apply before the closing date. Also, applicants must crosscheck their application before submitting it. You can’t delete or edit your video when you submit it.
