What is GNPC Scholarship?
GNPC – Ghana National Petroleum Corporation
Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) is the government organization in charge of petroleum-related activities in Ghana. The Petroleum Department, a department of the Ministry of Fuel and Power, was replaced by the company in 1983.
For the Ghanaian economy, the department was in charge of importing crude oil and petroleum-based goods.
They also offer scholarship opportunities to students as part of their social services to Ghana.
Is the GNPC Foundation Scholarship Open?
The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation scholarship is available to students who wish to apply. The scholarship is valid at authorized public tertiary institutions in Ghana for a variety of degree programs.
What Does the GNPC Scholarship Cover?
- Tuition fees
- Monthly allowance
- Other expenses; for example clothing, books, computer, etc.
- Approved air travel from your home country to the study destination and back after the program.
- When authorized, funding for conducting fieldwork abroad (often the cost of one round-trip ticket in economy to the place of the fieldwork).
Who is Eligible for the GNPC Foundation Scholarship?
The GNPC scholarship is open to both male and female applicants. To be eligible for this scholarship:
- The student must be a Ghanaian citizen.
- The applicant must not be over 35 years by the time of application.
- Applicants must be admitted by a university

To apply, you must go to the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation scholarship application portal – Gnpcfoundation.org.
How to Apply for GNPC Scholarship
You need an account to apply for the GNPC scholarship. You must create an account on GNPC before you apply.
- Go to the GNPC Foundation.
- Click on Login.
- Go to Create Account
- Use your email address or phone number to create an account.
- Provide your personal information.
- GNPC will send a form ID or PIN to your email.
To apply:
- Go back to GNPC Foundation.
- Log in with your email and the form ID or PIN.
- Fill out the GNPC scholarship application form.
- Upload the supporting documents.
- Wait for approval.
When is the Scholarship Deadline?
The scholarship application closes on November 22. Applicants should endeavor to apply before the closing date.
Note: GNPC will not accept applications after the closing date.
