What is the PSC Scholarship?
PSC – Public Service Commission
PSC, created in 2017, wants to give the scholarship to students that are passionate about using their engineering knowledge to keep Singapore technologically innovative and one step ahead of the competition both locally and internationally. These students should be interested in studying engineering and working in the public sector.
The scholarship presents a focused engineering career option right away. The specialized engineering career track enables recipients of scholarships to enhance their technical expertise in the Defence and Security cluster early in their careers.
Is the PSC Scholarship Out?
The PSC scholarship is available to students who wish to apply. When you qualify for this scholarship, you will get specialized training to develop deep technical capabilities in Defence and Security.
What Does the Scholarship Cover?
The Public Service Commission scholarship pays all of the applicant’s study expenses. The scholarship covers:
- Complete tuition costs and other relevant academic costs
- Maintenance and additional payments, such as for clothing, computers, and books
- Return flight costs
- Support for summer exchange programs only once
- Sponsorship for up to four years of studies, including, if applicable, a master’s

Who is Eligible for the PSC Scholarship?
The scholarship is available to both male and female Singaporean citizens having Permanent Residence. To qualify for the PSC scholarship, applicants must possess good CCA records.
What are the Eligibility Requirements?
- Applicants must be a Singaporean citizens or permanent resident
- Good GCE ‘A’ Level or International Baccalaureate results
- Polytechnic Diploma (with Merit) or equivalent
- Good co-curricular activities records
Required Documents
Here are the documents you need for PSC Undergraduate scholarship application:
- GCE A-levels results, or
- International Baccalaureate; or
- NUS High School Diploma; or
- Polytechnic Diploma with merit; or
- Other high school diplomas or equivalent.
For PSC Undergraduate (Mid-Term) Scholarship:
- GCE A-levels; or
- International Baccalaureate; or
- NUS High School Diploma; or
- Polytechnic Diploma with merit; or
- Other high school diploma or equivalent; and
- At least one semester of university results.
How to Apply for PSC Scholarship
To apply, you need to go to the PSC official website. The application takes five stages to complete.
- Visit the PSC website.
- Login in with your Singpass ID.
- Select the scholarship you want to apply for.
- Fill out the application.
- Upload the supporting documents
- Submit your application.
What to Do When Approved
If you are approved, you will need to go under a series of assessments:
- Psychometric Assessments
- Game-Based Assessments
- Psychological Interview
After your interview (assessment), you will receive a notification of the result of your interview. All outcomes should be received by June.
When is the Closing Date (Deadline)?
All the PSC scholarships application start on September 1 and closes on March 15.
Note: All applicants should apply before the closing date. The portal will not accept applications after the deadline. When you qualify for the scholarship, PSC will notify you of the next step to take.
