Who is Eligible for the NEDC-EEF Scholarship Application?
To qualify for this scholarship, applicants must be an indigene of one of the North-Eastern states. The North-Eastern states include:
- Adamawa
- Bauchi
- Borno
- Gombe
- Taraba, and
- Yobe
Types of NEDC EEF Scholarship Programs
The NEDC scholarship is available for students at various educational levels. Here are the scholarships programs available:
- NEDC Bachelor’s Degree Scholarship: candidates from each of the six North Eastern States are fully supported. The candidates should have training in pertinent programs in Nigerian universities. When choosing awardees, ratios of 70:30 for science to the arts and 60:40 for men to women may be taken into account.
- NEDC-EEF Master’s Degree Scholarship: Candidates will receive two years of training in each state in the North East Region. The awardees may receive training through demand-driven programs in Nigeria or abroad.
- NEDC Doctorate Degree Scholarship: last over a three-year period, sponsorship of candidates from each North East State. Reputable universities in Nigeria and abroad can provide students with training in relevant fields.
What are the Requirements for the NEDC-EEF Scholarship Application?
To qualify for the NEDC EEF scholarship grant, applicants must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen
- Be a resident of one of the North-Eastern states
- Be a higher education institution present or prospective student (with an admission letter).
